Head & Shoulders $1.35 Each (Usually $5.94!)

Here's yet another really REALLY good grab at HEB this week!

We currently have a hot $4 off $12 basket coupon available in the HEB mobile app that's good on select P&G personal care brands, including Head & Shoulders & Gillette razors (good through Tuesday, November 12.)  This is great timing since the P&G catalina promotion just kicked off today.

And since it's a basket coupon, remember you can use it with manufacturer coupons for additional savings!

So here's my preferred scenario:

• Head & Shoulders Classic Clean Anti Dandruff Shampoo -- priced at $5.94 per bottle.
• Gillette Sensor3 Disposable Razors -- 4-packs priced at $5.97 each.
• Buy four bottles of shampoo and one pack of razors.  All five items will ring in at a pre-coupon price of $29.73.
• Enter your digital app info at checkout to use your $4 off $12 basket coupon.  Since it's an unlimited use coupon, it will take $8 off your purchase.  That knocks you down to $21.73.
• Next, use two $3 off 2 Head & Shoulders coupons from the 10/27 P&G inserts, along with one $4 off Gillette coupon also in the 10/27 P&G insert.
• Pay $11.73 out of pocket, then receive your $5 catalina coupon for next time.
• Your final price is $6.73 for all five items, or only $1.35 apiece!

FAIR WARNING: Catalina promotions at HEB are getting more and more popular with couponers, but cashiers (and stores!) aren't always up to speed when a new promotion starts.

So if you want to pick this up, be prepared to follow up with the manager on duty if your catalina doesn't print and/or your cashier isn't familiar with the promotion.  

It's much easier to get this addressed at the register or immediately after you shop, although you can go back in the next day to talk to a manager if it's necessary.  

You can also request your reprinted catalina online, although obviously you will have to wait longer to get the new catalina mailed to you.  Also, note that you can only request ONE reprinted catalina per promotion -- another reason to get everything resolved right away at the store!
