Here's another awesome catalina deal for us to snag at HEB this weekend!

First things first: if you're not familiar with how catalina deals work at HEB, be sure to go here for my complete how-to guide.

Once you've reviewed the how-to guide, check out how the math works out:

• SoftSoap Liquid Hand Soap Pumps -- assorted 11.2 oz varieties priced at $1.98 each, with a $4 off 4 digital coupon currently available in the HEB mobile app (good through 2/11/20; limit one use per app.)
• Colgate Total Toothpaste -- priced at $2.96 per 4.8 oz box.
• Buy four bottles of Softsoap and one box of Colgate Total.  All five items will ring in at a pre-coupon price of $10.88.
• Enter your digital app info at checkout to use your $4 off 4 coupon.  That knocks your price down to $6.88 for all four items.
• Next, use the $1 off Colgate coupon from the 2/2 Smartsource insert.  
• Pay $5.88 out of pocket for all five items, then receive your $3 catalina coupon along with your receipt to use on a future February transaction.
• That's like a final price of $2.89 for all five items, or just 58 cents each!

FAIR WARNING: Catalina promotions at HEB are getting more and more popular with couponers, but cashiers (and stores!) aren't always up to speed when a new promotion starts.

So if you want to pick this up, be prepared to follow up with the manager on duty if your catalina doesn't print and/or your cashier isn't familiar with the promotion.  

It's much easier to get this addressed at the register or immediately after you shop, although you can go back in the next day to talk to a manager if it's necessary.  

You can also request your reprinted catalina online, although obviously you will have to wait longer to get the new catalina mailed to you. 

Also, note that you can only request ONE reprinted catalina per promotion -- another reason to get everything resolved right away at the store!
