You guys love it when this Clorox deal rolls around at HEB!
If you're not familiar with how piggybacking works, go here before you read any further.
That how-to guide is essential in understanding the following scenario:
- Clorox Clean-Up Spray -- 32 oz economy-size bottles priced at $3.28 each, with a coupon for a free 64 oz jug of Clorox Bleach available in the HEB mobile app starting January 1.
- Clorox Bleach -- 64 oz bottles priced at $2.68 each.
- Buy two of each item for a pre-coupon price of $11.92.
- Enter your app info at checkout to get both bottles of bleach for free. That knocks your price down to $6.56 for all four items.
- Next, piggyback the $1 off 2 Clorox coupon from the upcoming 1/5 Smartsource inserts. Remember, you aren't stacking coupons in this scenario -- you are buying four items and using two coupons.
- Your final price drops to $5.56 for all four items, or only $1.39 each!
And as always, I recommend you have a copy of the current HEB coupon policy printed or pulled up on your phone when you go to check out.
