Next, check out how the math will work out:
- Bounty Quilted Napkins -- 100-count packs priced at $2.14 each. There's a $1 off 2 coupon available in the HEB mobile app that's unlimited use, which means you can use it multiple times on the same transaction.
- Gillette Daisy 3 Disposable Razors -- 4-count packs priced at $4.97 each, with a $4 off basket coupon when you spend $12 or more also available in the HEB mobile app.
- Crest Toothpaste -- priced at $2.97 each, and also qualifies for the $4 off $12 basket coupon.
- Buy six packs of napkins, two packs of razors, and one box of Crest toothpaste. All nine items will ring in at a pre-coupon price of $25.75.
- Enter your digital app info at checkout to use your $1 off 2 unlimited use coupon (will take a combined $3 off your purchase) plus the $4 off basket coupon. That knocks your price down to $18.75 for all nine items.
- Next, use two $3 off Daisy coupons from the 2/23 P&G inserts on the other two packs of razors, and a $2 off Crest coupon also from the 2/23 P&G insert.
- Pay $10.75 out of pocket for all nine items, then still receive your $5 catalina coupon to use later in March.
- Your final price drops to $5.75 for everything, or only 64 cents each!
FAIR WARNING: Catalina promotions at HEB are getting more and more popular with couponers, but cashiers (and stores!) aren't always up to speed when a new promotion starts.
So if you want to pick this up, be prepared to follow up with the manager on duty if your catalina doesn't print and/or your cashier isn't familiar with the promotion. It's much easier to get this addressed at the register or immediately after you shop, although you can go back in the next day to talk to a manager if it's necessary.
I recommend bringing a copy of the weekly ad to the register with you, since this week the catalina promotion is advertised on pages 6 & 7!
You can also request your reprinted catalina online, although obviously you will have to wait longer to get the new catalina mailed to you. Also, note that you can only request ONE reprinted catalina per promotion -- another reason to get everything resolved right away at the store!
