Coke/Diet Coke 12-Packs $1.42 Each (Usually $4.86!)

Here's a terrific deal on 12-packs of Coke and Diet Coke products available at HEB starting Wednesday, March 13 as part of the new $10 Johnson's/Coca-Cola catalina promotion!

First things first: Go here to read up on the details of the promotion if you're new to shopping catalina deals at HEB.  I promise it will answer all your questions!

Now, check out how the math will work out:

• Coca-Cola 12-packs -- assorted varieties priced at $4.86 each.
• Mix and match seven 12-packs.  Pay $34.02 out of pocket, then receive your $10 catalina to use later in March.
• That's like a final price of $24.02 for all seven 12-packs, or only $3.43 apiece!

That's not bad, but I recommend mixing and matching with other included products to get an even lower final price!  Here's my scenario to consider:

• Coca-Cola 12-packs -- assorted varieties priced at $4.86.
• Johnson's Baby Hand & Face Wipes -- 25-count packs priced at $2.86 each.
• Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee -- on sale 2 bottles for $4.
• Coca-Cola Orange Vanilla -- 12 oz cans priced at 79 cents each.
• Buy four 12-packs, two packs of baby wipes, two iced coffees, and two cans of Orange Vanilla Coke.  All 10 items will ring in at a pre-coupon price of $30.74.
• Use two of this $2 off Johnson's coupon and two of this $1.25 off Dunkin coupon.
• Pay $24.24 out of pocket for all 10 items, then receive your $10 catalina coupon to use later in March.
• That's like a final price of $14.24 for all 10 items, or only $1.42 apiece!

FAIR WARNING: Catalina promotions at HEB are getting more and more popular with couponers, but cashiers (and stores!) aren't always up to speed when a new promotion starts.

So if you want to pick this up, be prepared to follow up with the manager on duty if your catalina doesn't print and/or your cashier isn't familiar with the promotion.  

It's much easier to get this addressed at the register or immediately after you shop, although you can go back in the next day to talk to a manager if it's necessary.  

I recommend bringing a copy of the weekly ad to the register with you, since the catalina promotion is advertised on pages 6 & 7 of the March 13 ad!

You can also request your reprinted catalina online, although obviously you will have to wait longer to get the new catalina mailed to you. 

Also, note that you can only request ONE reprinted catalina per promotion -- another reason to get everything resolved right away at the store!
