WHOA Pantene For 58 Cents (Usually $3.47!)

WOW if you need hair care, get ready to RUN to HEB this weekend for a crazy grab on Pantene as part of the new $5 P&G catalina promo!

Next, check out how the math will work out:

• Pantene Shampoo & Conditioner -- assorted varieties priced at $3.47 per bottle, with a $5 off $15 basket coupon available in stores starting 4/24. (If you're not familiar with how basket coupons work, go here for my how-to guide!)
• Puffs Facial Tissue -- priced at $1.54 per box, with a 4 for $5 yellow coupon also available in stores starting 4/24.
• Buy six bottles of Pantene and four boxes of Puffs.  All 10 items will ring in at a pre-coupon price of $26.98.
• Give your $5 off $15 basket coupon and the 4 for $5 yellow coupon first.  That will knock your price down to $20.82.
• Next, use two $5 off 3 Pantene coupons projected to arrive in the 4/28 P&G inserts.
• Pay $10.82 out of pocket for all ten items, then receive your $5 catalina coupon to use on a later purchase.
• That's like a final price of $5.82 for all 10 items, or only 58 cents apiece!

FAIR WARNING: Catalina promotions at HEB are getting more and more popular with couponers, but cashiers (and stores!) aren't always up to speed when a new promotion starts.

So if you want to pick this up, be prepared to follow up with the manager on duty if your catalina doesn't print and/or your cashier isn't familiar with the promotion.  

It's much easier to get this addressed at the register or immediately after you shop, although you can go back in the next day to talk to a manager if it's necessary.  

You can also request your reprinted catalina online, although obviously you will have to wait longer to get the new catalina mailed to you. 

Also, note that you can only request ONE reprinted catalina per promotion -- another reason to get everything resolved right away at the store!
