Make bathroom cleaning easier and save!
If you're not familiar with how piggybacking works, go here before you read any further.
That how-to guide is essential in understanding the following scenario:
- Clorox Disposable Toilet Wand Bowl Cleaning System -- priced at $8.88 each, with a digital coupon available in the HEB mobile app for a free 10-count box of Clorox Toilet Wand Refills with purchase (unlimited use; good through March 24, 2020.)
- Clorox Toilet Wand Refills -- 10-count box priced at $5.38 each.
- Buy one of each item for a pre-coupon price of $14.26.
- Enter your digital app info at checkout to use get your refills for free. That knocks your price down to $8.88 for both items.
- Next, piggyback this $2 off printable coupon (registration required.) Remember, you aren't stacking coupons in this scenario -- you are buying two items, and using two coupons.
- Your new price drops to $6.88 for both items, or only $3.44 apiece! That's a savings of $7.38 over buying both items at shelf price.
And as always, I recommend you have a copy of the current HEB coupon policy printed or pulled up on your phone when you go to check out.
