Check out this awesome deal on Clorox Bleach available at HEB this week!
If you're not familiar with how piggybacking works, go here before you read any further. That how-to guide is essential in understanding the following scenario:
- Clorox Regular Concentrated Bleach -- 116 oz jugs priced at $3.97 each, with a digital coupon available in the HEB mobile app for a free bottle of Clorox Liquid Toilet Bowl Cleaners with purchase (valid through 2/4 only, so shop fast!)
- Clorox Liquid Toilet Bowl Cleaners -- priced at $1.97 per bottle.
- Buy two of each item for a pre-coupon price of $11.88.
- Enter your digital app info at checkout to get both toilet bowl cleaners for free. That knocks your price back down to $7.94 for all four items.
- Next, piggyback this $1 off 2 printable coupon good on the Clorox bleach.
- Your final price falls to $6.94 for all four items, or only $1.74 each!
And as always, I recommend you have a copy of the current HEB coupon policy printed or pulled up on your phone when you go to check out.
Even though piggybacking is specifically permitted in the HEB coupon policy (as of almost FIVE years ago, actually!) some cashiers are still not aware of how the policy works.
And trust me, you will save yourself a lot of aggravation if you can refer to it right away at the register!
