Check out this killer snag on Kotex and Belvita available at HEB this week!
If you're not familiar with how piggybacking works, go here before you read any further. That how-to guide is essential in understanding the following scenario:
- U By Kotex Pads, Pantiliners, or Tampons -- priced as low as $2.86 per box, with a digital coupon available in the HEB mobile app starting 6/26 for a free box of Belvita with purchase.
- Belvita Breakfast Biscuits -- priced at $2.98 per box.
- Buy one of each item for a pre-coupon price of $5.84.
- Enter your digital app info at checkout to use your free Belvita coupon.
- That drops your price down to $2.86 for both items.
- Next, piggyback the $2 off Kotex coupon from the 6/23 Smartsource insert.
- Your final price drops to 86 cents for both items, or only 43 cents each!
As always, I recommend you have a copy of the current HEB coupon policy printed or pulled up on your phone when you go to check out.
Even though piggybacking is specifically permitted in the HEB coupon policy (as of over four years ago, actually!) some cashiers are still not aware of how the policy works. And trust me, you will save yourself a lot of aggravation if you can refer to it right away at the register!
