I have a sweet piggyback deal for you on packs of Tic Tac Gum!
If you're not familiar with how piggybacking works, go here before you read any further. That how-to guide is essential in understanding the following scenario:
- Tic Tac Gum -- priced at $1.22 per pack, with a BOGO coupon available on the HEB mobile app through 5/21.
- Buy two packs for a pre-coupon price of $2.44.
- Enter your digital app info at checkout to use your BOGO coupon.
- That knocks your price down to $1.22 for both.
- Next, piggyback this 50 cents off printable coupon OR the 50 cents off coupon from the 3/17 Smartsource insert.
- Your new price drops to 72 cents for both packs, or only 36 cents apiece!
As always, I recommend you have a copy of the current HEB coupon policy printed or pulled up on your phone when you go to check out.
Even though piggybacking is specifically permitted in the HEB coupon policy (as of over four years ago, actually!) some cashiers are still not aware of how the policy works. And trust me, you will save yourself a lot of aggravation if you can refer to it right away at the register!
