WOW, I know readers are gonna run for this new Suave Professionals score at HEB!
If you're not familiar with how piggybacking works, go here before you read any further.
That how-to guide is essential in understanding the following scenario:
- Suave Professionals -- bottles priced at $1.98 each, with a Buy 2 Get 1 Free coupon available on the HEB mobile app.
- Buy three bottles for a pre-coupon price of $5.94.
- Enter your digital app info at checkout to use your B2G1 Free coupon.
- That knocks your price down to $3.96 for all three bottles.
- Next, piggyback the $2 off 2 coupon from the 3/17 Smartsource insert (expires 3/31, so shop fast!)
- Your final price drops to $1.96 for all three bottles, or only 65 cents each!
As always, I recommend you have a copy of the current HEB coupon policy printed or pulled up on your phone when you go to check out.
Even though piggybacking is specifically permitted in the HEB coupon policy (as of nearly four years ago, actually!) some cashiers are still not aware of how the policy works. And trust me, you will save yourself a lot of aggravation if you can refer to it right away at the register!
