The Hormel Natural Choice snack deal got even better at HEB just in time for the weekend!
If you're not familiar with how piggybacking works, go here before you read any further.
That how-to guide is essential in understanding the following scenario:
- Hormel Natural Choice -- assorted packs priced at $1.50 each, with a Buy 2 Get 1 Free coupon available in the HEB mobile app (good through 3/26/19.)
- Buy three for a pre-coupon price of $4.50.
- Enter your digital app info at checkout to get one pack for free.
- That knocks your price down to $3 for all three packs.
- Next, piggyback two 50 cents off coupons from the 3/10 Smartsource inserts.
- Your final price drops to $2 for all three packs, or only 67 cents apiece! That's more than 50% off just for buying at the right time.
As always, I recommend you have a copy of the current HEB coupon policy printed or pulled up on your phone when you go to check out.
Even though piggybacking is specifically permitted in the HEB coupon policy (as of nearly four years ago, actually!) some cashiers are still not aware of how the policy works. And trust me, you will save yourself a lot of aggravation if you can refer to it right away at the register!
