Here's a terrific stockpile deal to snag at HEB on bottles of Lubriderm Lotion starting Wednesday, May 24 as part of the upcoming $10 Coca-Cola and Johnson's catalina promotion!

After all discounts, we can score bottles for a final price of 41 cents -- well below the usual $2.82 shelf price!

First things first: if you're not familiar with how catalina deals work at HEB, be sure to go here for my complete how-to guide.

I promise it will answer all of your questions!

Next, check out how the math will work out:

  • Lubriderm Lotion -- assorted 6 oz bottles priced at $2.82 each, with $1.50 off yellow coupons available in stores starting 5/24.
  • IF your store has enough stock, you could buy 11 bottles for a pre-coupon price of $31.02.
  • Use 11 $1.50 off yellow coupons to take $16.50 off your purchase.
  • Pay $14.52 for all 11 bottles, then receive your $10 catalina coupon to use later.
  • So that's like a final price of $4.52 for all 11 bottles, or just 41 cents apiece!
Now, I'm guessing that many stores won't have enough stock for that above scenario, so here's another deal scenario to consider:
  • Neutrogena Men Sensitive Skin Shave Cream -- 5.1 oz tubes priced at $3.93 apiece, with $2 off yellow coupons available in stores starting 5/24.
  • Buy six bottles of Lubriderm and four tubes of the Neutrogena shave cream for a pre-coupon price of $32.64.
  • Use six $1.50 off yellow coupons from the Lubriderm lotion, along with four $2 off yellow coupons from the Neutrogena shave cream.
  • All 10 coupons will take $17 off your purchase.
  • Pay $15.64 out of pocket for all 10 items, then receive your $10 catalina coupon to use later.
  • Your final price is like $5.64 for everything, or just 56 cents apiece. Also an excellent price!

FAIR WARNING: Catalina promotions at HEB are getting more and more popular with couponers, but cashiers (and stores!) aren't always up to speed when a new promotion starts.

So if you want to pick this up, be prepared to follow up with the manager on duty if your catalina doesn't print and/or your cashier isn't familiar with the promotion.

I always recommend having a paper copy of the weekly ad with you, since it often features information about the catalina.

This week, the promotion is featured on pages 9 and 10.

It's much easier to get this addressed at the register or immediately after you shop, although you can go back in the next day to talk to a manager if it's necessary.

You can also request your reprinted catalina online, although obviously you will have to wait longer to get the new catalina mailed to you.
Also, note that you can only request ONE reprinted catalina per promotion -- another reason to get everything resolved right away at the store!
